The strategic plan was accepted by the Board in the fall of 2017, and implementation began. However, unforeseen circumstances such as a flood, community protests over the sale of 566 Columbus Avenue, and the COVID-19 pandemic have impacted operations. USES now seeks to realign its strategic plan in response to these events to better guide resource allocation and program priorities.

        4. Align USES resources (funding, facilities, and workforce) with internal and external environments.
